This paper is based on wills of the afro-argentines of Buenos Aires after the Independence movement, which weren’t always taken into account by studious. It not only tells the story of black people as a whole, but also their native country and the process of forced migration, characteristics activities, ways of living, religion, culture, and their process of integration in the «porteña» society.
