Abstract

A general overview of Cuban historiography in the «neo-colonial» republic is followed by an analysis of that produced since 1959, observing that studies concerning the struggles for independence, the working class movement, and economic history are of greatest interest, and are published by diverse official organisms, which also republished certain nineteenth and early twentieth century works.
