This article studies a sector of the Spanish immigrants who lived in Mexico City during the Mexican revolution and the first two post-revolutionary decades. It focuses on every-day life through the analysis of their illegal and violent behavior within their homes, workplace and recreational spaces, as well as on the common crimes (against property, etc.) they committed. Mexican authorities labeled them as «pernicious» foreigners.
