Refugees from the French Revolution in Venezuela (1793-95)

Investigates the possible importance for Venezuelan emancipation of the arrival in 1793 of a group of French refugees from the Lesser Antilles and Saint-Domingue, that for different reasons, sought asylum in this province. Analyzes their influence in the diffusion of French libertarían ideas in this country, as well as their personal identification, their emigration to Spain, and their final destinations.
