An intellectual biography of González de Barcia, detailing the different fortunes of the items in his excellent library and archive, precedes this list of his manuscript materials which have been brought together in the National Library. Added to this list is the list made by Nicolás Antonio, as well as the additional list made by the royal librarían Juan de Iriarte, together with a table giving modern call-numbers.
