The Americans of the Extreme Right in the Cortes of Cádiz ( 1810-1814)

A socio-biographical and ideological study of this minority, stressing thc relevance of their geographical origin and analyzing in detail their few public manifestations. Different regional interests were expressed in their proposals and, although the defence of liberal views predominatcd among them, there was a group which supported the continuance of metropalitan absolutism.
