Gabriel de Rojas, conquistador of Nicaragua and Perú, and his will (1548)

Rojas' biography, before, during and after the conquest of Peru, is reconstructed from documents conserved in Segovia, together with the information given by chroniclers. His will is a key source to appreciate his social and economic successes as well as his philanthropic leanings, and is here published complete.
