Inmigración de agricultores españoles a la República Dominicana en el período Franco-Trujillo (1939-1961)

It details the features of rural spanish emigration in two different periods of Rafael Trujillo government: between 1934-41 arrived about 2.000 republicans; 4.131 in 1955, these spread out in several agrarian colonies (Baoba del Piñal, Huanito, Constanza). Using the sources of the spanish Foreign Office (Madrid), the article describes the difficulties and the achievements of those immigrants up to the present days.
