Studies the stages of Spanish emigration to the state of Sao Paulo, particularly in the years 1880-1930. Sao Paulo was chosen because it is the state of Brasil which received the greatest percentage of Spanish inmigrants. About seventy percent of Spaniards arriving between 1820 and 1929 concentrated in Sao Paulo.
