«La República de la opinión». Poder político y sociedad civil de Buenos Aires entre 1852 y 1861

Tradionally the studies about the Argentine modern system has sustained its aristocratic feature, implying the idea of "divorce" between the civil society and the political power. This paper discusses that interpretation and emphatizes on the importance acquired by the concensus of the public opinión in the production of a new legitimation system between 1852-1861.
