Through the study of the Constitutional Regime's response mechanisms vis-à-vis the final breaking up of the traditional Colonial model (1820-1823), the author analyzes the nature of the new relations model established by the Liberal Regime with the remmants of the Colonial Empire during the first three decades of the 19th Century.
