This paper analyses the logics and mechanisms of belonging produced by contemporary migratory subject, through the case study of Peruvian immigration to Madrid, in concrete, the members of the brotherhood of El Señor de los Milagros (The Lord of Miracles). The results of this research tries to find out new connections among concepts such as people, culture and place, through the analysis of the immigrant discourses and practices present in the creation or crossing of symbolic frontiers in the immigrant receiving societies.
