Abstract

Stresses the influence of the Discovery on Spanish intellectual history, hitherto considered less important than that of certain European ideas (Erasmianism) Studies, to this end, a varied series of works which reveal a modero interest in human variety ( cultural, psychological, natural, esthetic, etc.).
