Between 1850 and 1900, the Acre Region suffered an intense exploration and forestry processes, because of the fast growing of the rubber market. The great size of the activity and the enormous geographical distance convinced the government the necessity to capture those territories under the State control. This article shows the process under the Bolivian perspective.
